Scouting report

Signature strength

The floor is stretched wall to wall. Colby Bargeman alone bends a defense out of shape, and with shooting at four spots there is no paint to pack and nobody safe to help off.

Fatal flaw

The talent is not the question, the resume is. Yante Maten leads a group with the least tournament-tested production, and elimination basketball asks things a regular season never does.

Fit report

  • Jerel McNeal and Eric Flato want the same job. Stacking two point guards is creation you cannot use twice and defense you give back on the wing.

A calibrated projection, not a claim. Fan-built and not affiliated with the NCAA, any conference, school, or player.
